This May marks a truly special moment — the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. Join us from Monday 5th to Saturday 10th May as we celebrate VE80 in style here at the Centre!
We have a wonderful week lined up, full of music, performances, and a chance to step back in time. Throughout the week, don’t miss our fascinating VE80 Historical Display, kindly curated by the Redhill-Reigate History Society. It’s a brilliant way to connect with the local history and remember the incredible spirit of 1945.
Here’s what’s happening:

Monday 5th May: Get ready to be uplifted as Sing it Out takes to the Belfry Stage from 12pm with a lively, heartwarming performance.

Thursday 8th May: Enjoy the beautiful, vintage sounds of Sarah-Jane Morris. She’ll be performing classic songs from the era throughout the day from 12pm — perfect for getting into the wartime spirit.

Saturday 10th May: Don’t miss the Reigate Dance Centre bringing the magic of the 1940s to life! At 2pm, their dancers will perform authentic Jive and Swing routines in fabulous 40s style.
It’s going to be a week full of celebration, reflection, and fun — perfect for all ages. So pop down, enjoy the entertainment, and soak up a little bit of history with us.
