The Belfry is not just a shopping centre, it is the heart of Redhill, a place where our community can come together to celebrate annual traditions such as Easter, Diwali and Christmas and rally around local causes to improve the lives of everyone in the town and beyond. Autism All Stars
Autism All Stars are regular visitors to The Belfry bringing your favourite movie, TV and comic book characters to life in the centre. The Charity is dedicated to creating a happier, more inclusive world for autistic people and those who support them and we’re proud to have them as one of our partners. Visit their website here.
George and the Giant Pledge
On the 3rd of January 2017, the Woody family received some of the worst news possible for parents. Doctors had found a rare form of cancer in their then four-year-old son’s back. George and the Giant Pledge was set up to raise £1,000,000 to help beat childhood cancer because no child should ever have to have their childhood taken from them. Find out more here.
Home Start East Surrey
Home Start East Surrey is a Redhill-based charity assisting parents with young children through friendship, emotional and practical help. The charity helps families experiencing a wide range of social and parenting issues. Visit their website here.
Lucy Rayner Foundation
The Lucy Rayner Foundation is an amazing charity set up in 2013 in memory of Lucy Rayner who passed away in 2012. Today the charity’s mission is to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of physical and mental ill health in young people and adults. The charity has a wide range of mental health support services including, counselling, men’s and women’s support groups, Just Talk, The Hummingbird Process, Surrey Suicide Bereavement Service and Training. Redhill Foodbank in St Matthews Church
Our local food bank charity can be located at St Matthew’s Church in Redhill. The food bank at St Matthew’s is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from midday to 2pm. Everyone should have access to food yet not everyone in our local community can take it for granted. If you can donate, we have a drop-off point outside Marks & Spencer on the first floor. Royal British Legion
We are a proud supporter of The Royal British Legion and support them throughout the year, with the highlight being a moving Remembrance Service and Poppy Drop hosted in the centre. Shopmobility
Redhill Shopmobility is our mobility and assistance charity located on the Belfry Upper Level and Car Park level one. The Charity has a range of mobility equipment for use in the centre and around Redhill which enables users to have more freedom whilst they shop. Redhill Shopmobility stocks scooters, powerchairs, electric and manual wheelchairs, rollators, crutches and walking sticks available to rent or use through membership. Find out more here.
Stripey Stork
One of our long-term partners, Stripey Stork is one of the UK’s biggest baby banks, helping families in need throughout Surrey. Stripey Stork collects clothes, toys and essential items for babies and children to rehome them with local families experiencing hardship. The Include Choir
The Include Choir is a charity aimed at breaking down the barriers for people with communication needs. The Choir regularly visits and performs in The Centre to entertain our shoppers and raise money and awareness. Redhill Business Guild
The Redhill Business Guild comprises a group of local businesses that meet every other month to enhance Redhill as a place to live, work and do business. The group is Chaired by our Centre Manager, Andy Nash and delivers several projects every year, most notably the town’s Christmas tree in Maple Square and the #DestinationRedhill town centre activation events. The Light
The Light is Redhill’s vibrant new entertainment and leisure complex, based just opposite our High Street entrance. With a six-screen cinema, bowling lanes, axe throwing, Adventure Climb climbing walls, darts, arcade and dining, there’s activity throughout the day and evening.
