Strictly-themed Belfry Christmas Lights Switch-On spectacular wows shoppers!

Thousands of visitors to the Belfry Shopping Centre were treated to a spectacular Strictly-themed Christmas Lights Switch on event on Saturday!

Ecstatic fans watched a show-stopping performance from former Strictly Come Dancing Stars and World Champion Professionals, James and Ola Jordan, who then switched on the lights. People also waited patiently in queues that stretched around the Centre to get selfies and autographs with the dance stars afterwards.

Before the big event, shoppers enjoyed a day of free entertainment, competitions and performances from talented local dance troupes, including Redhill’s Zapphire School of Dance, Star Steppers, Reigate School of Ballet & Commercial Dance, and the Tanguera Dance School.

Santa’s Free Grotto opens Saturday 2nd December

There will be more festive cheer for local families when the Belfry’s free Santa’s Grotto opens on 2nd December. It will be open every day until Christmas Eve, and every child who visits will also receive a free gift. Celebrating the festive season throughout December

Join in the Belfry’s traditional community event, Carols in the Belfry, on Sunday 10th December at 6.30pm. There will also be Carols and Christmas music every Saturday in December from local school choirs and The Salvation Army, plus a free charity gift-wrapping service every weekend too.

Parking at The Belfry will be FREE after 5pm every day in December (and is still always £1 all day on Sunday). Stores will be open until 6pm every day in December and until 7pm from Monday 18th to Saturday 23rd December (Sundays, Christmas Eve & Boxing Day 10.30am – 4.30pm).
