Belfry shoppers helped raise well over £6000 throughout December!

Dear Belfry shoppers,

Thank you for all of your support in December 2019. With your help we have raised well over £6,000 for various charities close to our hearts throughout December.

The donations made by our visitors to Santa’s free Grotto this Christmas raised half of this incredible amount, with £3,000 going to The Children’s Trust!

About £1,200 will be split between Stripey Stork, St Peter’s House Project and Redhill Shopmobility.

Our Charity Gift Wrapping Service was also really well used this year! We provided the wrapping materials, space & opportunity, whilst our friends at VARB liaised with the various Charities & managed the diary. The Gift Wrapping, everyday throughout December until Christmas, raised many hundreds of pounds & awareness for all the local charities that took part, as well as providing a great beneficial service for our Belfry Shoppers!

Plus there was the fantastic support to help our local homeless this Christmas. With over £1,000 made in direct cash donations and at least a dozen full trolleys of goods donated to the Renewed Hope Trust, for their Winter Night Shelter collection.

We continue to be amazed & absolutely humbled by the generous response of our Belfry Shoppers! Especially over Christmas time when budgets are already tight.

Thank you all so much for your generosity.

Happy New Year from all of us at the Belfry Shopping Centre, Redhill.
