Dive under the sea with the Belfry this May Half Term!
Discover a coral reef, an underwater cave or even a sunken pirate ship this half-term when you dive ‘Under the Sea’ for a week of free activities at the Belfry Shopping Centre.
An exciting Virtual Reality (VR) experience will let you dive into the ocean’s hidden depths. VR game, ‘theBlu’, takes you into the deep blue sea, and while you’re exploring all the ocean’s treasures, your family and friends will be able to see what you’re experiencing on huge TV screens at the Centre.
You can play the free VR game all half-term and the Centre will also be raising awareness of the UK’s leading marine charity, the Marine Conservation Society’s Stop the Plastic Tide as well as Greenpeace Surrey’s Defend Oceans campaign. Join in fun activities with the charities and find out more about how we can all keep our seas healthy, pollution-free and protected.
Plus, do your bit by taking part in the Belfry’s great plastic straw amnesty! Just bring your plastic straws to the Centre and you’ll be able to swap them for eco-friendly paper straws.
